The zygomaticomaxillary complex (ZMC) refers to the anatomical region of the face that involves the articulation between the zygoma (cheekbone) and the maxilla (upper jaw). This complex is a critical component of the midface and contributes to the structural support of the orbit (eye socket).

The ZMC includes the zygomatic arch, the zygomaticofrontal suture, and the zygomaticomaxillary suture.
