microsurgery of the brain tumors and of the base of the skull, in particular of the acoustic neurinomas and of the irritative-deficient pathology of the cranial nerves such as the trigeminal neuralgia.
Co-director and tutor in microneurosurgical dissection courses in Florida (www.inerf.org), in Europe (www.friendssc.com) and in Italy.
Vertebro-medullary pathology, in particular the microsurgery of cervical hernia and spondyloarthritic cervical myelopathy, national awards (Stryker 2006 and Tagliapietra 2007) for research on the clinical-surgical application of technological innovations, and microsurgery of the herniated lumbar disc and lumbar vertebral stenosis, instrumental surgery of the spine (vertebral stabilization) and minimally invasive vertebral methods.
