Superior temporal gyrus approach to Middle Cerebral Artery Aneurysm

a) advantages: minimizes brain retraction, possible reduced vasospasm from manipulation of proximal vessels

b) disadvantages: proximal control difficult, slightly larger bone flap, possible increased risk of seizures 1).
