Obstructive hydrocephalus from posterior fossa tumor
Obstructive hydrocephalus is present in 70% to 90% of patients with posterior fossa tumors at diagnosis. However, only 20% to 30% of patients will require a means of long-term CSF diversion following tumor resection 1)).
Characteristics of this patient subset are not well defined.
