Novelty

In scientific literature, novelty refers to the degree to which a study introduces new knowledge, ideas, methods, or perspectives that advance understanding in a given field. A work is considered novel if it presents:

* A previously unreported phenomenon or case, * A new or improved method or intervention, * A reinterpretation of existing data or theories in a meaningful way, or * A new application of known principles in a different context.
