Lukas Bruckmann, born 1979 in Vienna, Austria, after studying at the Medical University Graz, finished his residency at the Department of Neurosurgery Graz in 2013. Since his first steps in neurosurgery his main interests are neuroanatomy, intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring, awake surgery and spinal cord surgery.

In 2011, he served as a clinical fellow at the Department of Neurosurgery, University of Verona, Italy under supervision of Dr. Francesco Sala. In 2014 he was certified for completing the educational program of the ISIN.

Currently he is working at the Department of Neurosurgery, Rudolfstiftung, Vienna.
