Kaufman’s point

Although there are various other ventriculostomy entry points for EVD or shunt, compared to Kaufman’s, Paine’s, and Menovsky’s points, the modified Kocher’s point has several advantages. For example, Kaufman’s point is located 5 cm superior to the nasion and 3 cm lateral to the midline. Still, currently, it is rarely used due to its poor cosmetic results and lower success rates 1)
