The treatment for flexible cervical kyphosis (type 1) posturally reducible is usually a posterior stabilization with fusion to guarantee the stability of the cervical spine 1) 2).

Alternatively, some authors have reported the use of anterior only surgery for flexible cervical kyphosis as discectomy and corporectomy. This approach is useful for anterior column load sharing however it is not required for deformity correction.
