Fear of recurrence
Fear of recurrence is the experience of worry and concern that a illness might come back. It affects each survivor differently.
The detection rate of fear of recurrence in elderly patients with Coronary artery disease was relatively high but could be reduced by active interventions and enhancing social support 1).
