Fish Oil (Omega-3 Fatty Acids) is used for the treatment of dyslipidemia and hypertriglyceridemia. Fish oil may affect platelet aggregation by a reduction in arachidonic acid and thromboxane and adenosine diphosphate receptor blockade.
