Meralgia Paresthetica AKA originally known as the Bernhardt Roth syndrome, and sometimes called “swashbucler´s disease”.

It was first described independently by Roth 1). and Bernhardt in 1895 2).


Gliosarcoma was first reported by Strobe in 1895 but did not gain wide acceptance until 1955 when Feigin and Gross described, in detail, three patients with this malignancy 3) 4).


Napoleon Cybulski first isolated epinephrine in 1895.
