=====Enfermedad de Rosai Dorfman=====
Es una enfermedad rara, no neoplásica que se caracteriza por una proliferación inusual de las células histiocíticas. Rara vez se manifiesta a nivel intracraneal, y hasta el año 2004 sólo se han descrito 50 casos (Türe y col., 2004).

La [[histiocitosis]] sinusal con linfoadenopatías masivas o enfermedad de Rosai Dorfman se debe a la proliferación de los macrófagos, es de naturaleza benigna y usualmente autolimitada. 

Afecta sobre todo a niños y adultos jóvenes. 

Se ha presentado como un tumor espinal torácico intradural extramedular, pero sin manifestaciones extraespinales (Chen y col., 2011).
