Posterior arch resection

The posterior arch resection is indicated for lesions restricted to zones 10-3 of the Weinstein Boriani Biagini classification. The posterior elements are resected through a single posterior approach, with the pedicles sectioned adjacent to the vertebral body to allow the removal of the posterior arch en-bloc ¹⁾.
