Cervical Spine Sagittal Balance Parameters

Measuring C1-C2 sagittal Cobb angle and C2-C7 angle, and segmental angulation between surgically treated cervical segments with the Cobb angle method

T1 slope and C2-C7 sagittal vertical axis. Those parameters, are the more consistent ones reported in the literature 1)

Poblete et al. found a significant correlation between postoperative clinical status (cervical Visual analog scale score) and postoperative C2-C7 sagittal vertical axis, suggesting that the cervical angulation and alignment are as important factors as the cervical sagittal balance in obtaining a satisfactory clinical outcome 2).
