Villaret’s syndrome

AKA posterior retropharyngeal syndrome, AKA the nervous syndrome of the posterior retroparotid space). Collet-Sicard syndrome with sympathetic involvement. Usually due to retropharyngeal leasions.

Etiologies include: parotid tumors, metastases, external carotid aneurysm and skull base osteomyelitis.

Symptoms: as with Collet-Sicard + Horner syndrome.
