Tractability

Definition: Tractability refers to the ease with which something can be managed, controlled, or solved. It is a general term used across disciplines, from computational theory to clinical practice.

In medical or interventional contexts: Although not commonly used in device descriptions, tractability can refer to a system's or technique’s responsiveness to manipulation or intervention. However, more specific terms such as trackability, steerability, or navigability are usually preferred.

In computational sciences: A problem is considered “tractable” if it can be solved efficiently using available algorithms, typically within polynomial time.
