A hyperintense suprasellar lesion is identified in T2 sequence and hypointense in T1 sequence, which heightens in a heterogeneous way after contrast administration, with the presence of necrotic cystic areas inside. The approximate diameters of the lesion are 15 x 11 x 11 (craniocaudal, transverse and anteroposterior respectively). The tumor broadly encompasses the pituitary stalk, with only the most distal portion of it being respected.
