RISE® is an all lumbar expandable titanium cage designed for posterior approaches, such as Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion (TLIF) or Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion (PLIF).
Minimal Insertion Height: Inserted at a reduced height to minimize impaction and preserve endplate integrity.
Continuous Expansion: Up to 7mm of continuous expansion to restore disc height.
Optimized Fit: When expanded in the disc space, the implant optimizes endplate-to-endplate fit.
RISE® IntraLIF® is an innovative percutaneous expandable lumbar interbody spacer that achieves traditional fusion goals through an 8.5mm inner diameter cannula. By leveraging extraforaminal access and visualization through the IntraLIF® procedure, the RISE® implant expands in situ to distract and optimize fit.
Minimal Anatomical Disruption: The IntraLIF® approach preserves the facet joint and avoids disruption of paraspinal muscles.
Protected Corridor: Instruments are passed through a small cannula creating a protected corridor past the nerve roots.
Optimal Disc Access: The procedure is performed from a more lateral approach than a TLIF and allows increased access to the entire disc space.
Improved Implant Placement: The insertion trajectory enables better implant placement across the midline of the vertebral body
