Vagal triangle (Trigonum vagi or ala cineria), is a triangular dark area bounded laterally by the vestibular area, medially by the hypoglossal triangle and above by the [[inferior fovea]]. It overlies the nuclei of glossopharyngeal, vagus and cranial accessory nerves.
