====== Uncovertebral joint ====== The uncovertebral [[joint]], known as the Luschka joint, is a unique anatomical structure of the [[cervical spine]]. It is located on either side of the [[C3]]–[[C7]] [[vertebral body]] and is formed by the anastomosis of the [[uncinate process]] on the posterolateral side of the lower vertebral body with the lower slope of the upper vertebral body, and has been shown to play an important role in limiting cervical lateral orientation and movement and maintaining cervical [[stability]] ((Hartman J.
