====== T cell receptor ======


[[T cell]]s require two [[signal]]s to become fully activated. 

The first signal comes through their [[antigen receptor]] which is [[antigen]]-specific, is provided through the T cell receptor (TCR), and the second signal comes through [[CD28]] and is typically provided by antigen-presenting cells (APC): monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, or B cells.
