[[Structural connectivity]] describes anatomical [[connection]]s linking a set of neural elements. At the scale of the human brain, these connections generally refer to [[white matter]] projections linking [[cortical]] and [[subcortical]] regions.

Structural [[connectivity]] is defined as the existence of [[white matter tract]]s physically interconnecting brain regions and is typically measured in vivo in humans using diffusion-weighted imaging.
