====== Spinal nerve root ======

A spinal [[nerve root]], the beginning of one of the thirty-one pairs leaving the central nervous system from the [[spinal cord]]. Each [[spinal nerve]] root consists of the union of a sensory dorsal root and a motor ventral root.

[[Lumbar foraminal stenosis]] (LFS) is defined as when the [[spinal nerve root]]s are compressed on the side due to narrowing of the foramen that may be caused by a foraminal herniated disc, a collapsed disc space, or an enlarged joint.
