====== Scandinavian Neurotrauma Committee ======

The [[Scandinavia]]n [[Neurotrauma]] [[Committee]] (SNC) was founded  in [[1998]] after an initiative from the [[Scandinavian Neurosurgical Society]]. The committee is comprised of dedicated neurosurgeons, neurointensivists, and neuroanesthesiologists from [[Norway]], [[Sweden]], [[Denmark]], [[Finland]] and [[Iceland]]. The SNC is independent of industry funding and members are supported by their respective institutions.

The first Nordic Neurotrauma Conference was held in [[Lund]], Sweden, November 13-15th 2017. 

The SNC has published several guidelines for the management of traumatic brain injury. The book “Management of severe traumatic brain injury” was published in [[2012]].
