=====Palatine process=====
The palatine process or horizontal portion of the maxilla projects medialward from the [[nasal surface]] of the bone. It forms a considerable part of the floor of the [[nose]] and the roof of the mouth which are completed by the articulation of the horizontal portion of the [[palatine bone]].
