In October 2019, the [[Congress of Neurological Surgeons]] and Oxford University Press announced an addition to the [[Neurosurgery Journal]]s [[Publication]]s suite of [[journals]], Neurosurgery Open. Neurosurgery Open is a fully [[Open Access]] (OA), online-only journal publishing articles under the CC-BY-NC license, unless an alternative is required by a funding body. Publication is paid for through the article processing charges required by the OA license. Neurosurgery Open will provide a high-quality, fully OA platform for the neurosurgical community through which to share its research globally.

===== Goal =====

The goal is to provide an outlet for the publication of scientific papers dealing with clinical neurosurgery and experimental neurosurgery, such as case series, case reports, and other information of interest to neurosurgeons.
