=====Meningioma en plaque===== [[Meningioma]] en plaque (MEP) is rare characterized more by its clinical and biological behavior than its histological appearance. It represents a morphological subgroup within the meningiomas defined by a carpet or sheet-like lesion that infiltrates the [[dura]] and sometimes invades the [[bone]]. [[Hyperostosis]] of the [[skull]] is one of the characteristic signs of MEP. This bony change can produce clinical symptoms and signs in MEP by pressing against adjacent structures ((Baek JU, Cho YD, Yoo JC. An osteolytic meningioma en plaque of the sphenoid ridge. Differential diagnosis includes [[fibrous dysplasia]], osteoma, and osteoblastic metastasis. see [[Meningioma en plaque of the sphenoid ridge]]
