[[Ependymal cyst]]s are rare benign [[neuroepithelial cyst]]s lined by ependymal cells. Most are small and asymptomatic and only cause symptoms if large.

On imaging, these cysts are essentially indistinguishable from other intraventricular simple cysts (e.g. [[intraventricular arachnoid cyst]]s).
