====== Intradural disc herniation ======


[[Intradural]] [[disc herniation]] (IDH) was first reported by [[Walter Edward Dandy]] in [[1942]]. 

Intradural herniation of intervertebral disk comprises 0.26–0.30% of all disk herniations.

Ninety-two percent of all IDH occur in the [[lumbar region]], with only 5% occurring in the [[thoracic region]] followed by 3% in the [[cervical region]].
