[[Cancer]] that has spread beyond the layer of [[tissue]] in which it developed and is growing into surrounding, healthy tissues. Also called invasive cancer.

[[Glioblastoma]] (Glioblastoma), the most aggressive form of brain cancer, is characterized by a high level of [[molecular]] [[heterogeneity]], and infiltration by various [[immune cell]] and [[stromal cell]] populations.
