====== Hypersensitivity vasculitis ======

Neurologic involvement is not a prominent feature of this group of vasculitides, which include:

● drug-induced allergic [[vasculitis]]: 

A number of [[drug]]s are associated with the development of cerebral [[vasculitis]]. These include methamphetamines (“speed”), [[cocaine]] (frank vasculitis occurs 
((Kaye BR, Fainstat M. Cerebral Vasculitis Associated with Cocaine Abuse. JAMA. 1987; 258:2104–2106)) 
but is rare), [[heroin]], and [[ephedrine]]

● cutaneous vasculitis

● serum sickness: may → [[encephalopathy]], [[seizure]]s, coma, peripheral neuropathy, and brachial plexopathy

● Henoch-Schönlein purpura
