====== Glioblastoma chemotherapy ======


In [[2005]], a prospective, randomized, phase 3 trial by the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer ([[EORTC]]) 26981-22981/National Cancer Institute of Canada Clinical Trials Group (NCIC CTG) reported improved progression-free and overall survival for patients with Glioblastoma with the addition of concomitant and adjuvant [[temozolomide]] (TMZ), an oral alkylating agent, to [[radiotherapy]] (RT) following [[maximal safe resection]]
