[[Positional plagiocephaly]] can mostly be diagnosed clinically and by physical examinations. The simplest way to assess the severity of [[plagiocephaly]] is to use a [[diagonal caliper]] during physical examination, which measures the difference between the diagonal lengths on each side of the head.
