Plane: Coronal alignment refers to the alignment of body structures in the coronal plane, which divides the body into front and back halves.

Side View: Coronal alignment is observed when looking at the body from the side.

Lateral Alignment: It primarily focuses on the left-right positioning or deviation of the body structures.

Examples: Coronal alignment can be important in assessing conditions such as scoliosis, hip dysplasia, knee malalignment (genu valgum or genu varum), and foot malalignment (e.g., flat feet or high arches).
