====== Cervical dural arteriovenous fistula ====== A report of an asymptomatic [[cervical dural arteriovenous fistula]] in a patient with [[Lhermitte-Duclos disease]] was published in [[2006]]. Almubarak et al. from [[Riyadh]], presented in [[2018]] the second case of Lhermitte-Duclos disease associated with an asymptomatic spinal cervical [[AVF]] in a 17-year-old young woman with [[literature review]] of central nervous system vascular lesions in Lhermitte-Duclos disease ((Almubarak AO, Haq AU, Alzahrani I, Shail EA. Lhermitte-Duclos Disease with Cervical Arteriovenous Fistula. J Neurol Surg A Cent Eur Neurosurg. 2018 Dec 5. doi: 10.1055/s-0038-1670636. [Epub ahead of print] PubMed PMID: 30517962. )). ---- A 61-year-old male presented with shortness of breath and chest pain. Workup for acute myocardial infarction was negative; however, computed tomography angiography visualized what a vascular malformation within the cervical spinal canal. Given the patient's history of Servelle-Martorell syndrome, neurovascular imaging was performed. Garg et al. present the unique vascular findings of a right thyrocervical trunk-based dural arteriovenous malformation (dAVM) and a large epidural venous varix. The cervical dAVM induced intervertebral foraminal widening and polyradiculopathy, representing a rare adult case of congenital vascular bone syndrome ((Garg V, Manjila S, Corriveau M, Bambakidis NC, Sunshine JL. Cervical dural arteriovenous malformation and large epidural venous varices in a rare adult presentation of congenital vascular bone syndrome.
