Primary [[lobar hemorrhage]]s (usually due to [[cerebral amyloid angiopathy]]) are typically seen in elderly. Younger patients may also develop lobar haemorrhages, but in such cases they usually have an underlying lesion (e.g. [[cerebral arteriovenous malformation]]).
