[[Bone]] disease, any of the [[disease]]s or injuries that affect human bones. [[Disease]]s and injuries of bones are major causes of abnormalities of the human skeletal system. Although physical injury, causing fracture, dominates over disease, fracture is but one of several common causes of bone disease, and disease is in fact a common cause of fracture.
