Ask your administrator if you think this is wrong. =====Vein of Trolard====== {{ ::veinofgalen.gif|}} Synonym: Central sulcus vein The superior anastomotic vein of Trolard connects the [[superior sagittal sinus]] and the [[superficial middle cerebral vein]] (of Sylvius). Its size is dictated by the relative size of the superficial middle cerebral vein and the anastomotic [[vein of Labbé]]. The vein of Trolard is smaller than both of these. It usually penetrates the SSS in the postcentral region. Inferior cerebral veins are cortical bridging veins that channel into the basal sinuses and/or into the deep venous system. They are met in the skull base approaches.
