Thoracic [[spinal cord ependymoma]]s are [[intramedullary tumor]]s that arise from the [[ependyma]]l cells lining the central canal of the [[spinal cord]]. They are the most common [[intramedullary spinal cord tumor]]s in [[adult]]s and frequently occur in the [[thoracic region]].
