Primary [[melanocytic tumor]]s of central nervous system represent rare tumors arising from [[melanocyte]]s of the [[leptomeninge]]s. These neoplasms include focal forms like [[melanocytoma]] and primary malignant [[melanoma]] and diffuse forms like [[leptomeningeal melanocytosis]] and primary [[leptomeningeal melanomatosis]].
