The vascular supply of the [[insula]] is mainly provided by the M2 segment of the [[middle cerebral artery]], which constitutes a substantial obstacle to any open or stereotactic procedure aiming at the insular region. The long insular arteries originate from the insular portion of the middle cerebral artery and supply the [[corona radiata]] and the descending [[motor tract]]. ===== Middle cerebral artery M2 segment occlusion ===== [[Middle cerebral artery M2 segment occlusion]]. ===== Pathology ===== [[Middle cerebral artery M2 segment aneurysm]] m2_segment_of_the_middle_cerebral_artery.txt Last modified: 2025/05/23 21:21by administrador
