[[Lymphocytic adenohypohysitis]] and [[lymphocytic infundibulo neurohypophysitis]] are rare [[autoimmune]] mediated diseases of the anterior and [[posterior pituitary]], respectively. 

In the majority of patients, Hypophysitis can be reliably identified by characteristic clinical signs and symptoms, obviating histological confirmation. The diagnostic approach should be standardized
