Variation in eligibility criteria from studies of radiculopathy due to a herniated disc and of neurogenic claudication due to lumbar spinal stenosis: a structured literature review. Spine (Phila Pa 1976). 2010 Apr 1;35(7):803-11. doi: 10.1097/BRS.0b013e3181bc9454. Review. PubMed PMID: 20228710; PubMed Central PMCID: PMC2854829. )). There are also no universally accepted radiographic definitions for the diagnosis of Lumbar central canal spinal stenosis, lumbar lateral recess stenosis and lumbar foraminal stenosis. Three spinal canal morphologies were identified: (1) "flattened" canal with predominantly reduced spinal canal AP diameter, (2) spinal canal with predominantly reduced interlaminar angle, and (3) global reduction of all canal parameters. Early age at presentation and subtle spondylosis, although typical, should not be considered the identifying, differentiating factors ((Kitab SA, Alsulaiman AM, Benzel EC. Anatomic radiological variations in developmental lumbar spinal stenosis: a prospective, control-matched comparative analysis. Spine J. 2014 May 1;14(5):808-15. doi: 10.1016/j.spinee.2013.09.012. Degenerative stenosis. ---- Significant lumbar spinal stenosis and lower extremity arthritis may coexist in the elderly. This combination of lumbar stenosis with radiculopathy and lower extremity arthritis may lead to diagnostic uncertainty. ===== Hip spine syndrome ===== see Hip spine syndrome. lumbar_spinal_stenosis_classification.txt Last modified: 2024/06/07 02:50by 127.0.0.1
