El sistema Kiva VCF, consiste en un sistema de implementación de un solo uso con coil e implante de Kiva.

La experiencia clínica inicial con el sistema demuestra mejoras significativas en el dolor de espalda, con fuga de cemento mínima y clínicamente insignificante (Korovessis y col., 2011).

Exhibe un rendimiento biomecánico similar a la cifoplastia con balón, pero puede reducir el riesgo de extravasación a través del mecanismo de contención del diseño del implante y por la reducción de volumen de cemento Wilson y col., 2012).
