Dr Wu has been established as an academic leader in Chinese neurosurgery with numerous high quality contributions to glioma surgery in eloquent parts of the brain.
He developed his own novel integrated technical system for multimodal brain mapping strategies and  established a Chinese language cortical distribution atlas. He has been a principle investigator of numerous projects and has been awarded disctinctions by the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, The Journal of Neuro-oncology, the Shanghai government and the Chinese Neurosurgical Association. He will be domnstrating awake craniotomy techniques, with technologies he devised himself, on a 3T iMRI.
