The polar frontal artery is the next cortical branch of the ACA and arises from the A2 segment of the pericallosal artery or the CMA but can share a common trunk with the FOA and Heubner's artery. An FPA, or the common trunk of the FOA and FPA, arising from the A1 segment of the ACA is a rare finding. Second major branch of postcommunicating part (A2 segment) of [[anterior cerebral artery]] (pericallosal artery); distribition: medial aspect of [[frontal lobe]], approaching frontal pole, of cerebrum. ===== Frontopolar artery aneurysm ===== [[Frontopolar artery aneurysm]]. frontopolar_artery.txt Last modified: 2024/06/07 02:52by 127.0.0.1
