The ventral stream flows from Region 1 to Region 2 (anterior and middle [[temporal lobe]]) and is involved in speech recognition and lexical concepts. The dorsal stream maps phonological information onto motor areas (Regions 4 (premotor cortex) & 5 (≈ Broca’s area)). Regions 3 (≈ Wernicke’s area), 4 & 5 are all involved in dorsal stream processing. dual_stream_model_of_language.txt Last modified: 2024/06/07 03:00by 127.0.0.1
