It works in close coordination with the spinal cord as part of the central nervous system (CNS). Structurally, the brain consists of several main parts: [[Cerebrum]]: Responsible for higher cognitive functions and voluntary movement. [[Cerebellum]]: Coordinates balance and fine motor control. [[Brainstem]]: Regulates vital functions such as breathing, heart rate, and consciousness. Functionally, the brain contains billions of neurons and glial cells organized into complex networks, allowing it to receive input, interpret signals, make decisions, and produce appropriate responses. brain.txt Last modified: 2025/05/14 08:43by administrador
