Los [[aneurisma]]s del sistema vertebrobasilar, especialmente de la PICA, al sangrar invaden el IV ventrículo y, secundariamente, los otros ventrículos.

====Diagnóstico====

La angiografía-TAC con reconstrucción de la base de cráneo, puede proporcionar información importante sobre la posición relativa de diversas enfermedades vasculares de la base del cráneo, facilitando enormemente el diagnóstico y los procedimientos de tratamiento (Li y col., 2010).

Las opciones de tratamiento de la ruptura de aneurismas fusiformes vertebrobasilares, son limitados y suelen llevar conllevar mortalidad y morbilidad significativa.
