Benjamin in [[1857]] as a case of [[melanoma]] spread to the pituitary identified in an [[autopsy]] ((Chiang MF, Brock M, Patt S. [[Pituitary metastases]]. Concerning [[diabetes insipidus]] and the polyuria of the hypophysial origin.
